On 9 August 2019, SokSiphana&associates hosted a group of 22 youths, participating in the Southeast Asian Service Leadership Network Youth Leadership Summit 2019 (SEALNet YLS19) where our partner, Khieu Mealy, gave a speech under the theme of “Leaders as Learners.”

SEALNet YLS19 brings together youth leaders from all over ASEAN who are passionate about tackling social issues within their communities. Over the course of the summit, they will receive training on service leadership, project management and other workshops related to pressing social issues in Southeast Asia before taking on their own projects. During her speech, Mealy emphasized the importance of lifelong learning and how to become good leaders, citing her own journey in a legal career and her personal life.

At SokSiphana&associates, we believe in giving back to the community. We trust that Mealy’s story will be a source of inspiration for these young leaders. We wish them all the best in their projects and hope they will bring back what they have learned in this summit to make great impacts in their respective communities.
