December SICMS Self-Inspection Filing Deadline Approaching
Have you completed your Self-Inspection Filing via the Self Inspection Centralised Management System Website yet? As a reminder, business owners and enterprises are required by the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training to conduct self-inspections twice a year under Prakas No. 358/21 dated 30 December 2021. The first self-inspection must be completed before the end of June, and the second self-inspection must be completed before the end of December each year.
Additionally, Notification No. 022/22, dated 27 May 2022, outlines 31 compliance matters that businesses and enterprises must prioritize and implement. Non-compliance with these matters will result in penalties under the Labour Law and relevant regulations.
With the end of December fast approaching, businesses and enterprises should ensure compliance by:
- Reviewing the guidelines outlined in Prakas No. 358/21 KB/PRK and Notification No. 022/22.
- Prioritize the 31 compliance matters.
- Address any non-compliance issues promptly.
By taking these steps, businesses can avoid potential penalties which may be levied for not filing the self inspection report on SICMS in December.
