On 17 March 2022, the Ministry of Health announced the decision of the Inter-ministerial Committee for the Prevention of COVID-19 in an announcement (Announcement No. 098) with the following main points:

  • Travellers no longer need to obtain a negative COVID-19 PCR test prior to travelling into Cambodia.
  • Rapid tests will no longer be administered upon arrival.
  • Visa services on arrival for international travellers by air, land, and sea shall be reopened. Although testing requirements are cancelled, travellers are advised to take a rapid test themselves (if they feel unwell) and must present a COVID-19 vaccination card on arrival. Where travellers on arrival are not fully vaccinated/partially vaccinated against COVID-19, these travellers are required to quarantine for 14-days at a facility designated by the Ministry of Health or must secure a hotel booking for quarantine. Otherwise, a USD2,000 deposit will be required on arrival to cover quarantine expenses.
