On 17 November 2022, our Senior Associate Mrs. Sophary Noy explained the fundamentals of Fair Trial Rights at ECCC at a Masterclass organized by Florida State University, College of Law. 

ECCC has made significant initiatives and contributions to the Cambodian legal system. This Masterclass examined the role of defense in the ECCC, key procedural aspects of the ECCC, how fair trial rights contributed to retributive justice, and the contributions made by the ECCC to legal and judicial reform in domestic courts. Participants were highly engaged throughout the event, asking the speaker important questions about the ECCC for intensive understanding.
