Cambodian Transmission II Co Ltd (“CTL2”) signed an agreement with Diamond Power Ltd (DPL), a Pestech International Bhd’s unit to acquire DPL’s 230kV Kampong Cham-Kratie Transmission System project. The transaction was officially announced in October 2022 

SOK SIPHANA & ASSOCIATES represented Cambodian Transmission II Co., Ltd. in this USD 118M transaction as the lead counsel.  

Our team was led by Daron Wong, Head of legal, assisted by Sin Soromnear and Sok Rosette. 

This deal is worth $118 million between the two private entities involving the power transmission line, which belongs to the national assets. These entities at the end of the concession will be transferred to EDC.
