Experience

Sokha is an Associate at SOK SIPHANA & ASSOCIATES, specializing in banking and real estate law. He has over six years of experience in reviewing and drafting loan and financial documents for various commercial banks, with expertise in different types of documentation. Sokha attends meetings with bankers and borrowers to explain the key terms of documents and processes the security procedure for hypothec registration. He also submits loan documents and title deeds to the land department.

Sokha completed an internship in the Operations Department at Hong Leong Bank (Cambodia) Plc from August 1 to September 30, 2013. During this internship, he reviewed and drafted loan and financial documents and performed Banker Check’s Clearing at the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC).

Career

Sokha joined SOK SIPHANA & ASSOCIATES in October 2016. He is responsible for reviewing and drafting loan and financial documents for various commercial banks with different types of documentation. He also attends meetings with bankers and borrowers to explain the key terms of documents and processes the security procedure in terms of hypothec registration, submits loan documents and title deeds to the authority at the land department, and updates banking reports. Additionally, he liaise with various commercial banks regarding various confirmation letter.
