Announcement | ZICO Law Announces Brunei Office: Now in Nine out of Ten ASEAN Countries

ZICO Law, in its continued growth as the leading solutions provider in ASEAN is proud to announce its latest addition in Bandar Seri Begawan, Negara Brunei Darussalam effective 1 January 2017.

With the strategic establishment of Rozaiman Abdul Rahman (RAR) as a ZICO Law member firm, the ZICO Law network now extends its reach with a presence in 16 cities across nine out of ten ASEAN countries to highlight ZICO Law’s commitment to develop local knowledge and expertise throughout key markets in ASEAN.

Under the leadership of Mohamad Rozaiman Abdul Rahman, RAR possesses 20 years of comprehensive legal experience in crucial practice areas including litigation, corporate commercial, intellectual property, real estate, banking and Islamic finance among others. His clientele includes government-linked entities and high-net-worth individuals. Rozaiman has worked as legal advisor and corporate secretary for several of Brunei’s largest banks and financial institutions including acting as Head of Consumer for Takaful Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) Sdn Bhd.

Rozaiman graduated with an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Staffordshire, United Kingdom in 1992. He went on to pursue Barrister-at-Law at Lincoln’s Inn, London before being admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Brunei Supreme Court in 1997.

“My vision is to enhance Brunei’s cooperation with its ASEAN neighbours and I believe that ZICO Law’s involvement and regional exposure is the integral step to reaching that end”, said Rozaiman who is excited with Brunei’s addition into the ZICO Law Network.
