Employers’ Position On Cambodia’s Trade Union Law Policy Paper

The Cambodian Federation of Employers and Business Associations (CAMFEBA) published the Employers’ Position On Cambodia’s Trade Union Law Policy Paper on September 2015. Matthew Rendall, senior partner of SokSiphana&associates, whom is also a Board Member and responsible for ASEAN Confederation of Employers (ACE) Secretariat is one of the key members in advising on developing and finalizing the paper.

The policy paper provides an overview of perspectives of industry and employers on the development and implementation of Cambodia’s Trade Union Law.  This includes views of employer’s position on the new law, key challenges that may take place, as well as the drafting and adoption process of the new law governing unions and employers in Cambodia. CAMFEBA was established to support the increasing need for the private sector to stand together as a unified voice and also representing, promoting and safeguarding the rights as well as interests of the employers in Cambodia. CAMFEBA is also recognized nationally, regionally and internationally as the sole employers’ representative in Cambodia.
